DFAM Academy

Curriculum

Learn DFAM by process, not by generic manufacturing theory.

Each track focuses on geometry rules, material limits, failure modes, post-processing, inspection, and release controls for a specific additive process.

FDM / FFF

Fixtures and thermoplastic production aids

Orientation, anisotropy, shell strategy, supports, inserts, ribs, and print-start controls.

SLA / DLP

High-detail resin parts and tooling patterns

Support scars, drainage, hollowing, suction, washing, post-cure, and resin handling.

SLS / MJF

Support-free polymer production

Powder escape, thermal curl, nesting, snap-fit tuning, dyeing, clearances, and batch economics.

Metal PBF

Structural and thermal metal parts

Supports, residual stress, powder removal, machining stock, inspection, and qualification evidence.

Binder Jetting

Sintered metal and sand workflows

Green strength, depowdering, shrink compensation, sintering support, and final inspection.

DED / WAAM

Large-format deposition and repair

Toolpath access, heat input, bead geometry, stock allowance, distortion, and finish machining.

Bring it in-house

We tailor these tracks to your machines, parts, and release gates.

Curriculum is one piece of an implementation. We build the version your team actually needs and run it against real production candidates.
